How does cmte accomplish its purpose?*	The 2030 Census Advisory Committee provided insight, perspectives, and expertise through recommendations on planning and implementation of the 2030 Census advising the Census Bureau in conducting an accurate decennial census. The Committee provided the Director of the Census Bureau periodic updates on insights regarding various topics relating to preparation for the 2030 Census.
How is membership balanced?*	Members were selected on a standardized basis, in accordance with applicable Department of Commerce guidance. Members were selected from the public and private sectors and had experience as well as expertise in census and survey matters, including but not limited to: historically undercounted populations; national, state, local, and tribal areas; redistricting including interactions with state officials and redistricting experts; international and national statistics; geospatial information; census involvement and needs of community-based organizations and academia; the business and technology sectors; and marketing and media sectors.
How frequent & relevant are cmte mtgs?*	During this reporting period, the 2030 Census Advisory Committee met two times - (Fall Meetings, October 17-18, 2024, and December 5, 2024). Agenda topics reflected concerns that were relevant of the committee’s time and awareness. During the meetings, the committee identified new strategies for the improvement of conducting an accurate decennial census.
Why advice can't be obtained elsewhere?*	The Committee was needed to provide insight, perspectives, and expertise through recommendations on planning and implementation of the 2030 Census to advise the Census Bureau in conducting an accurate decennial census. The information and advice this Committee provided cannot be obtained effectively and efficiently from any other source. In the absence of this Committee, the Census Bureau would obtain this information from paid consultants, individuals, or organizations.

Recommendation Remarks	The 2030 Census Advisory Committee submitted two sets of recommendations (October 17-18, 2024 and December 5, 2024) in FY25. The recommendations for the December 5, 2024, meeting was approved by the Census Bureau Director and submitted to the 2030 Census Advisory Committee. Recommendations, for October 17-18, 2024, meeting, were not approved and as a result, we were unable to report. Per EO 14217, the Secretary of Commerce has determined that the purposes for which the 2030 Census Advisory Committee was established have been fulfilled, and the committee has been terminated effective February 28, 2025.

Recommendations from the December 5, 2024 meeting were approved and disseminated. The Census Bureau responded through formal written response to each recommendation. Agency responses were posted on the Census Advisory Committee public website.	Narrative Description*	The 2030 Census Advisory Committee accomplished its purpose by engaging Census leadership and managers on 2030 Census plans. As part of this work, the Committee devised and recommended strategies to increase census awareness and participation, and to motivate response to the 2030 Census and how best to improve the 2030 Census employee recruitment strategies. The Committee provided feedback and recommendations regarding proposed 2030 Census data products’ content, timing, geographic specificity, and fitness for use. The Committee considered the Census Bureau’s outreach, communications, and partnership efforts, providing perspectives on community trends, challenges, and opportunities for the 2030 Census. This included recommendations on how to capture broader community perspectives.
