How does cmte accomplish its purpose?*	The Advisory Board will provided the Secretary of Transportation with recommendations related to the structure, scope, and methodology for developing and implementing the national motor vehicle per-mile user fee pilot program under BIL section 13002(b); assist with carrying out a public awareness campaign regarding a national motor vehicle per-mile user fee under BIL section 13002(h); assist with developing reports to Congress analyzing the national motor vehicle per-mile user fee pilot program under BIL section 13002(n); and coordinate in the development of the recommendations and a report to Congress required under the Strategic Innovation for Revenue Collection pilot program in BIL section 13001(d).
How is membership balanced?*	(1) Experience with motor vehicle mileage based user fees (MBUF); (2) Geographic dispersion, (3) Skill sets and knowledge missing from the 11 Congressional categories on MBUF designated by BIL Section 13002 (g) to provide well rounded recommendations.

Outcome Comment	The Federal System Finance Alternative Advisory Board will make recommendations on the Highway Trust Fund and its sustainability. Specific recommendations on a national pilot test will provide data and recommendations to Congress on Mileage Based User Fees (MBUF) to replace the fuel excise taxes. Agency Feedback Comment*		Narrative Description*	This Advisory Board Charter was signed in September 2023. Nominations were solicited in October 2023. Nominations closed on November 17th, 2023. Review, vetting, nominee selection, and management review were performed from December 2023 to November 2024. Advisor Board Members were approved by the Secretary of Transportation in December 2024. As a result, there will be more activity to report in 2025 after the Advisory Board members begin meeting in earnest.
