How does cmte accomplish its purpose?*	The purpose of the Working Group is to conduct a study on access to covered resources for infrastructure projects. The Working Group will submit a report to the Secretary of Transportation that includes the findings of its study and any recommendations on preserving access to and reducing the costs and environmental impacts of covered resources for infrastructure projects. “Covered resource” is defined as a “common variety material used in transportation infrastructure construction and maintenance, including stone, sand, and gravel” (
