How does cmte accomplish its purpose?*	The committee accomplishes it's purpose through planning and execution. Developing and submitting reports and recommendations to GSA for review and inclusion where appropriate.
How is membership balanced?*	The membership is balanced based on the approved membership balance plan.
How frequent & relevant are cmte mtgs?*	The OG FAC will meet approximately four (4) times per fiscal year. Meetings are relevant to ensure the development of transparent recommendations on GSA’s creation, implementation, and monitoring of U.S. Open Government National Action Plans (NAP)s and commitment themes. The initial focus for the OG FAC will be to provide advice to GSA on the development of NAP 6, Open Government Policy, and Public Engagement.
Why advice can't be obtained elsewhere?*	There is currently no designated entity or individual designated to represent the views of the USA on Open Government initiatives.
Why close or partially close meetings?	The Administrator determines, in writing, that the information to be discussed at the meeting falls under one of the exemptions listed in the Sunshine Act.
