How does cmte accomplish its purpose?*	The Committee will provide information and advice regarding the development of the Monument’s management plan, and as appropriate, management of the Monument.
How is membership balanced?*	The Committee will consist of the following 15 members: 1. Eight representatives of Tribal Nations with historical connection to the lands within the Monument; A representative of developed outdoor recreation activities; A representative of dispersed recreational activities, including hunting or wildlife organizations; A representative of the conservation community; A representative of archeological and historical interests; A representative of local business owners; An elected official from local government; and A member of the public-at-large.
How frequent & relevant are cmte mtgs?*	The Committee will meet two to four times annually, and at such other times as designated by the DFO.
Why advice can't be obtained elsewhere?*	The purpose of the Committee is to enable Nevada citizens to have a meaningful say in the development of the management plan and management of the Monument. The local stakeholders provide important perspective on how public lands can be best managed for the benefit of the American people.
Why close or partially close meetings?	All meetings are open to the public. Notices of the meetings are published in the Federal Register, posted on the MAC's webpage and social media sites, and meeting information is distributed to local media.
