How does cmte accomplish its purpose?*	The Advisory Committee on the Presidential Library-Foundation Partnerships normally meets at least annually to provide the Archivist of the United States, who is responsible for the administration of the system of Presidential Libraries, with advice and suggestions for new approaches and new programs to be undertaken by existing Presidential Libraries, and with guidance in the development of new Presidential Libraries.
How is membership balanced?*	Members of the Advisory Committee on the Presidential Library-Foundation Partnerships represent each of the libraries within the Presidential Library system. They have personal knowledge of the desires and interests of the former Presidents and are in positions to inform and give guidance to the foundations that support each of the libraries. In this way, the diversity within the library system is well-represented.
How frequent & relevant are cmte mtgs?*	The committee normally met at least annually.
Why advice can't be obtained elsewhere?*	The Archivist of the United States recommended termination of this discretionary committee in accordance with EO 13875 because NARA found that the committee has not provided significant recommendations or reports for NARA’s consideration in recent years. The committee has largely served as a general collaboration venue between the Presidential Library Foundations and NARA. NARA will continue to collaborate with foundations by using meetings to exchange facts and information and work with individual foundations as needed outside such meetings to resolve issues involving a library and its foundation.
