How does cmte accomplish its purpose?*	The Committee evaluates and recommends proposals for funding to the Secretary of Agriculture as outlined in Title IV of the Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009 (PL 111-11) and reauthorized in the 2018 Farm Bill (H.R. 2)
How is membership balanced?*	This panel is appointed by the Secretary of Agriculture and includes a balance of experts in ecological restoration, fire ecology, fire management, rural economic development, strategies for ecological adaptation to climate change, fish and wildlife ecology, and woody biomass and small-diameter tree utilization.
