How does cmte accomplish its purpose?*	District Advisory Councils work closely to keep SBA field offices informed of local, state, and national issues effecting small businesses in that respective area.
How is membership balanced?*	Resource partners, lenders, small business owners, small business leaders, representing a balance of industries, trade, associations, and federal, state, and local agencies.
How frequent & relevant are cmte mtgs?*	Committee meets twice per year. This committee is also helpful in that it nominates candidates for Small Business Week and also determines the best nominee for the awards.
Why advice can't be obtained elsewhere?*	Committee is a grassroots network of informed business leaders, who offer a unique small business perspective that is only available from the private sector.
Why close or partially close meetings?	All meetings are open to the public and are advertised in the Federal Register.
