How does cmte accomplish its purpose?*	We regularly discuss what we have accomplished and what our current initiatives are. We take suggesions on how we may better serve the small business community. Our committee tries to identify better ways of handling services.
How is membership balanced?*	Our group includes lenders, resource partners, community advocates andsmall business owners. The group is ethnically diverse, although we willcontinue to add individuals from groups not currently represented.
How frequent & relevant are cmte mtgs?*	We try to meet quarterly. The committee provides useful feedback to the District Director and staff on better ways to serve the small business community. No meetings were held in 2007.
Why advice can't be obtained elsewhere?*	Members feel strongly that the SBA needs to keep in touch with the small business owners they seek to serve. All feel it is important to solicit public opinion & continue Advisory Council meetings.
Why close or partially close meetings?	Meetings are open to the public and advertised in the Federal Register.
Recommendation Remarks	Committee felt that goals should be based on penetration rather than historical achievements.
