How does cmte accomplish its purpose?*	The Committee assists the OMB Director in carrying out the duties of the Director under part D of subchapter III of chapter 35 of title 44, which concerns access to data for evidence; evaluates and provides recommendations to the Director on how to facilitate data sharing, enables data linkage, and develops privacy enhancing techniques; and reviews the coordination of data sharing or availability for evidence building across all agencies. The Committee submitted the Year 2 Report to the Director and made publicly available an annual report on the activities and findings of the Committee on October 14, 2022.
How is membership balanced?*	The Committee has a balanced membership, by considering such factors as geography, technical expertise, community involvement, and knowledge of programs and/or activities related to ACDEB. Individuals will be selected based on their expertise or experience in specific areas as needed by ACDEB. The diverse membership of the Committee assures expertise reflecting the full breadth of the Committee’s responsibilities, and, where possible, the Department of Commerce will also consider the ethnic, racial, and gender diversity and various abilities of the United States population.
How frequent & relevant are cmte mtgs?*	The Committee continues to keep meetings more timely due to the relevant information sharing. Meetings were expected to occur a minimum of three times per year, with the possibility of additional meetings as the Chair may determine. In FY23 the committee only met once due to the termination of the committee on Oct. 23, 2022.
Why advice can't be obtained elsewhere?*	The work of the committee is essential because the Evidence Act states that the Committee will review, analyze, and make recommendations on how to promote the use of Federal data for evidence building.
