How does cmte accomplish its purpose?*	The Task Force is expected to meet approximately four times each year. Pursuant to § 5106(a) of Public Law 116-283, the Task Force shall investigate the feasibility and advisability of establishing and sustaining a National Artificial Intelligence Research Resource; and propose a roadmap detailing how such resource should be established and sustained.
How is membership balanced?*	In accordance with § 5106 (a)(2) of Public Law 116-283, the Task Force will comprise 12 members. Members shall be selected by the co-chairpersons of the Task Force from among technical experts in artificial intelligence or related subjects, of whom four (4) shall be representatives from the Interagency Committee established in § 5103 of Public Law 116-283, including the co-chairpersons of the Task Force; four (4) shall be representatives from institutions of higher education; and four (4) shall be representatives from private organizations.
How frequent & relevant are cmte mtgs?*	The Task Force is expected to meet approximately four times each year. The Task Force will report to the Assistant Director for the NSF Directorate for Computer and Information Science and Engineering. In addition, not later than twelve months after the date on which all of the appointments have been made under § 5106 (a)(2)(B) of Public Law 116-283, the Task Force shall submit to Congress and the President an interim report containing the findings, conclusions, and recommendations of the Task Force. The report shall include specific recommendations regarding steps the Task Force believes necessary for the establishment and sustainment of a National Artificial Intelligence Research Resource. Not later than six months after the submission of the interim report, the Task Force shall submit to Congress and the President a final report containing the findings, conclusions, and recommendations of the Task Force.
